I’m so excited to announce my commitment to Texas Christian University! I’m so thankful for this opportunity to continue my athletic and academic career at such an amazing school. The minute I stepped on campus, I had a feeling that it was the place for me, and now I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The staff is full of really great people and they are building such a strong program with an amazing group of girls that I can’t wait to be a part of! There’s no saying this hasn’t been a long and difficult process at times, but the actual decision of committing to TCU was easy and obvious to me the whole time. I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported me through this journey and who has been my side the whole way.

I’d like to thank all of my coaches who have built me into the player I am today. First off, I’d like to thank Mark Broers who was my coach in my u9-u11 years. My first time ever playing goalie was for him when he said “Who can catch a ball?” and I said “I can!” so he tossed me a pair of gloves! At the time, I didn’t know what a life-changing moment that was. When I arrived at San Juan, I was coached by John Love who actually developed me into a full-time keeper. I actually wasn’t too thrilled about it at first, but he said he saw something in me, so I trusted him and couldn’t be more grateful for his advice. I then had an amazing time being coached by Zeca Neto who introduced the concept of leadership to me. My time with Zeca was one of the most important times of development because he showed our team the true joy of soccer and made me fall in love with the game. Finally, I would like to thank my current coach, Erin Sharpe, for never giving up on me and for making my dreams of playing college soccer come true. She has developed me into a stronger player both physically and mentally, and I couldn’t be more thankful.

Lastly, I like to thank my teammates and family. Being part of a team at San Juan has always felt more than a couple of girls. It feels like a family. They always push me to be a better version of myself as a player and person, and I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. Most importantly, I have so much gratitude for my family and the constant support they have given me. They always were there to encourage me and lead me in the right direction. They are my main support system, and I couldn’t be more thankful to have such strong and positive people being role models for my journey.

Thank you to everyone!

I can’t wait to be a part of the Frog Fam in 2020!

GO FROGS!!
